Am I the only one that wishes Winter would leave us behind and give Spring it’s turn around?
I wanted to show some photographs from the past couple years I have taken in Washington, D.C.
I highly suggest you visit the city in all it’s glory in the Spring, especially during March-April in time for all the beautiful Cherry Blossom madness. It’s on my check list this year, to go to the Tidal Basin to view the festivities, its been a couple of years, and it’s like standing underneath trees full of pink cotton candy petals, it’s soo pretty. However, there will be people all around, be warned, ha.
Another favorite spot for me, is the National Mall, oh, I am imagining it right now, sitting on the lawn underneath a tree, eating something I picked up from Chinatown, sunny & warm. Also all the free museums doors are open and ready for you to explore them!
Spring, oh Spring. For now I will just be content reading my travel books and scheming for warmer waters..
Happy Travels!!

What beautiful photos! I don’t think I could handle the snow or the humidity of DC, but every time I see the cherry blossoms, the city wins me over
Why, thank you! Oh yes, it is quite sticky in the city during the summer, however more the reason to have roof top pool parties (which are scattered throughout the city) & hang out at Lauirol Plaza for their amazing margaritas on their deck!
I am crossing my fingers we don’t receive any large accumlations of snow between now and spring!
I love that town… I’m dying to go and visit again!
D.C. makes a great weekend trip! I mean I live here and still haven’t visited half of the cool things to do in the city!
